About Khalil
I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate at the University of California – Davis. I am a proud member of both the Population Biology graduate group and the Wainwright Lab under Dr. Peter Wainwright.
I study functional morphology, performance and kinematics in the feeding apparatus of neotropical cichlids.
I also host a YouTube channel dedicated to sharing my fishkeeping hobby and science communication with the public.
If you’re interested in what you’ve read so far and would like to learn more about any of the work I do, feel free to continue through to the rest of the website. Thanks for visiting!
